"Comprehension Success" is a new generation course in comprehension practice at Key Stages 1 and 2. The texts are authentic, and selected from a broad range of genres. The questions progress in difficulty, and ensure that your pupils achieve success in comprehension skills. The texts are selected to represent the full range of genres, from quality fiction and poetry to every kind of informational text. Questions graduated to allow for differentiation within the class include: Section A - simple questions for factual recall; Section B - extended questions for inferential understanding; and, Section C - practice in writing in the appropriate genre. The teacher's book provides further background to the texts, answers to the questions, and practice for pupils preparing for tests.
